Description

Kiburi is the Swahili word for pride and this year we are excited to present some of Glasgow’s finest performers and DJs for the closing event of the festival. Programmed by LGBTQ+ people of African descent, we will be celebrating queerness and looking at it within the context of contemporary African heritage. The evening includes performances by Nina Mwdwaba, Hussein Al-Chokhdar and DJ sets from Plantainnchips, TAAHLIAH and DJ Scotia.
