Synopsis

Gabriela is a young pianist who will perform at her first major recital. However, a dream about her dead mother destabilises Gabriela's mind and heart, putting her presentation at risk. From a series of strange encounters over the course of a day, Gabriela will go on a journey of reconciliation with her memories and her mother.

About the Director

Bruno Ribeiro, 1994, was born in Rio de Janeiro and raised between Portugal and Brazil. He wrote, directed, and edited short films screened at festivals such as Doclisboa, IFFR, and Berlinale. His last one, Manhã de Domingo (2022), won the Silver Bear at Berlinale. Currently, the director is developing Zion, his first feature film, which has participated in script laboratories and market events such as Torino Film Lab, BrLab, CineMundi, and Ventana Sur.
