Scottish Documentary Institute Showcase: Kenyan Stories + Q&A

Included Films

KENYAN STORIES: INTIMATE GLIMPSES INTO ALTERNATIVE AFRICAN REALITIES

Delivered in collaboration with Docubox and the British Council, East African Stories is part of the Scottish Documentary Institute's Stories project.
Four short films shot in five different corners of Kenya by local filmmakers in their local language. In collaboration with Docubox, the East African Film Fund, SDI mentored filmmakers during their development and shooting period, and then gathered them for a week editing at Docubox headquarters in Nairobi. The intimacy and poetry of these films are mesmerising.

The films in this showcase are free to watch and are geo-blocked for the UK region only. Includes a pre-recorded Q&A with the directors.
