This short is an intimate portrait of a loving family. The film explores the relationship between a single mum and her two boys. The roles are inverted with the youngest brother, only five years old, having to look after the oldest one due to his disability, and make sure his mum is ok.
This film was created as part of the Scottish Documentary Institute's Kenyan Stories programme, in partnership with Docubox and British Council.
About the Director
Artsy Solomon is a self-taught visual artist and storyteller based in Lodwar Town, Turkana, specializing in documentary films and photography with the aim of changing the narrative of Turkana region, one of the rural areas of Africa.
