Included Films

We are thrilled to present a guest-curated programme titled "We Are Every Woman: The Symbiosis of the Light and Dark Feminine", by the creator of fast-growing platform Yung Nollywood, Theodora Imaan Beauvais.

It is no mystery the influence the Nigerian industry has had on the world’s cinematic experience. This selection of films is characterised by the diversity of female directors creating from different circumstances, within Nigeria and in the Diaspora. We touch on themes that transcend several generations of the female perspective; the implicit value of our gender, friendship, and the multiplicity of the relationships we have with ourselves.

This screening is followed by a Q&A with Yung Nollywood founder Theodora Imaan Beauvais and curator Tega Okiti.
